Starting May 7, all U.S. citizens must have a REAL ID to travel to the United States, meaning regular driver's licenses will NOT be accepted for travel. If you have a valid passport, you can use it as your travel document — we recommend always having your passport with you.

This identification is also required for cruises departing from San Juan. If you don't have a valid passport, you can present your REAL ID along with your original birth certificate issued from July 2010 onwards.
