The JABBFA is an approved sporting association of Jamaica, registered by and operating through the Sports Development Foundation of Jamaica. JABBFA is Jamaica’s only International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) recognized governing body for amateur Bodybuilding, Physique, Bikini and Body fitness competitions and the only Jamaican organization that qualifies competitors for the IFBB and awards competitors an IFBB Elite Pro Card. The IFBB is the largest bodybuilding and fitness organization in the world with national federations in 196 countries. JABBFA stages a full programme of national events each year since 1949 and has been hosting National Competitions from its inception, including Pre-Assessments, Posing Sessions, Anti-Doping Sessions and a National Championship and Sports Festival.
